Checkout Xenon Flash For Brighter And More Beautiful Photos

Are you considering to buy a smartphone mainly for its camera spec, or you're a photo freak? Then I'll like to introduce you to Xenon Flash. This is actually one of the features you should look out for when buying a smartphone if your sole interest is to get sharp, quality and beautiful photos.

You must have heard about LED flash, screen flash, true tone LED, and dual LED for smartphone cameras. But what is this Xenon Flash?

Xenon flash is the type used in professional cameras. It is made up of a glass tube filled with xenon gas that discharges a short and very bright flash of white light when a high voltage is applied. This makes xenon flashes unarguably brighter than the LED flashes.

However, modern smartphones favours LED flash over Xenon because:
1. They fit in smaller space (hence thinner phones)
2. They can be used as torchlight (Xenon flash works as short bursts)
3. LEDs are much cheaper.

Meanwhile, smartphone that use Xenon flash are older, and all belongs in the 2010-2014 era. Despite this ugly fact, the best cameraphones have Xenon flash. Let's see them.

It is clear why Xenon flash don't have deserved popularity and high usage. Most phones that uses it are older with some outdated OS and hardware features. But like I stated earlier, photos taken with this flash are brighter and sharper than LED.

So if you'd like to use any phone with Xenon flash, it's advisable to use it as a secondary device for the sole purpose of snapping pictures, because you may not like the other features. Or what do you think?
